I have worked over a task to re-design a packaging design for a “Coffee Coated with Chocolate”. As according to my client, this “Coffee Coated with Chocolate” product is not a popular item in their KLIA outlet. But when I first look at their old packaging design, I found out that the packaging design doesn’t express the information it should be. Through my understanding, coffee is well mixed with chocolate, it shouldn’t be a not popular product. After I have re-design the packaging, my client told me, this “Coffee Coated with Chocolate” product now have become the best seller item in that outlet.
As a conclusion, a good packaging design will able to change the position of that product and become high demand. A good packaging design should able communicate with the viewer and promote by itself.
